5. 2 Goods faulty on arrivalmust bereported to us as soon as possible after delivery. We recommend thatgoods areturned on as soon as possible after delivery to check that they are not“deadon arrival” and “boot up” correctly.These problems occur in a very smallnumber of machines across the industry and in all brands. Delays inchecking,for any reason, may cause unnecessary delays in correcting the problemquickly.
For faults developing withinamanufacturers warranty period, other than the “dead onarrival” items mentionedabove, please see section 7.2 of Terms and Conditions,“Warranties andGuarantees
5.3 You are under a statutoryduty totake reasonable care of the goods. All goods damaged in transit orfaulty onarrival must be returned in all the original packaging and with all theoriginalaccessories and documentation. We will advise on the best way to eitherrectifythe fault or return these goods, at our expense, and will issue arefund or senda replacement as soon as the goods are received by us and the damage orfaultis assessed.
* 5.4 Cancellation of yourorder can be madewithin eight working days (Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays)ofdelivery and returned for a full refund. We will refund the price youhave paidfor the goods, not including the cost of delivery. It is yourresponsibility togive notice of your wish to cancel within this cancellation period byemail,fax or letter.
5.5 The cancelled goods mustbe returnedin saleable condition in all their original undamaged packaging andwith allthe original accessories and documentation, at your expense and, foryour ownprotection, by a recorded delivery service. If the goods are notreturned in afully saleable condition and with all the original packaging and theoriginalassociated items then we reserve the right to refuse a refund or todeduct areasonable amount equal to the consequent discounted re-sale value.
5.6 We do not accept returnswithout avalid RMA or returns reference number issued when the customer contactsusregarding a return and we will not be responsible in any way forreturned goodswithout an RMA.
5.7 A refund will usuallyreach yourpayment account within thirty working days. Timing will depend on thespeed ofprocessing by the account company
5.8 We do not accept thereturn of softwareor extended warranties which have been opened with the seal broken orcomputerswhich have been registered in the customers name with the manufacturer,or notrestored to factory setting, unless the item is faulty. We will notrefund fordamaged goods except where damages occur in transit to you (see 5.1) orforgoods not supplied by us, nor will be responsible in any way for goodsnotsupplied by us.
5.9 All returned goods aretested and ifthey are found not to be faulty or the fault is related to damage notreportedat the time of delivery we will return the item to you at your expense.
