CableTime Mediastar Evolution 780-HD Digital Media Decoder and IP Television Receiver

The MediaStar Evolution 780 range of Digital Media Decoders are a powerful and ultra reliable, solid state ''out of the box'' solution for your entire IP Television, Digital Signage and Digital media delivery requirements. The 780 can decode both SD and HD H.264 and MPEG-2 encoded network streams and play out locally stored HD and SD video files from onboard memory, so that a combination of live streamed network video /audio and file based media can be displayed. The 780 supports SD and HD output resolutions in both Digital (HDMI) and Analogue formats (YPbPr/ CVBS). In HD mode both HDMI and YPbPr operate simultaneously allowing a single 780 unit to support two screens. In addition, the 780 has an onboard rendering engine, providing the ability to display SD TV inputs at HD output resolutions. The unit can also display PowerPoint presentations (converted to HTML), JPEGs, PNGs and up to the minute webpages with its onboard Firefox browser. A 780 can operate reliably on its own in standalone mode with configuration and channel setup from a central HTTP server or networked under the control of the MediaStar Evolution Administration software allowing play out of pre-programmed timelines of media content. Infra red, RS 232 and USB connectivity enable local operation; display control; key board and mouse interaction; IP command pass through and external alarm audio mute. The unit will also email proof of play reports and send SNMP traps if required. Maintenance free operation, small physical size, low power consumption and software future proofing make the 780 ideally suited for both large scale distributed applications or simple single screen deployments.

 Orders received before 4pm that are in stock and payment has cleared will be processed that day for delivery Monday to Friday (excluding UK Bank Holidays) between 8am and 5.30pm.

 Telephone contact information is required by the courier for every order so they can contact you directly if they have any problems delivering your order.

 Online tracking of your order, once dispatched, will be emailed to the email address you provided when placing your order. We try and provide all tracking details be 8am the day after the order was placed.

 Orders that are not in stock may take up to five days todeliver. If it may take longer than five days we will contact you with information and you can decide to cancel or wait for the order.
